Laurie’s passion for supporting first responders and military members goes back over 30 years. Her first LEO volunteer gig was in 1995. With deep personal connections in the first responder community, Laurie has continued to support local first responder organizations on and off since then. Laurie started at IWP as a volunteer and quickly fell in love with the IWP family and mission, transitioning from volunteer to employee in January 2026. Laurie is an outdoors girl that enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, hiking, kayaking, and snowmobiling, and she bakes a mean chocolate chip cookie.
