Tom brings more than 19 years of dedicated law enforcement experience to the Invisible Wounds Project Board. In 2023, he moved from Sergeant and assumed the role of Community Relations Specialist for the Roseville Police Department, where he leverages his deep understanding of both operational and human dynamics in policing to strengthen community trust and promote officer wellness.
Throughout his career, Tom has served in nearly every capacity within the department—including patrol officer, street crimes officer, crisis negotiator, school resource officer, detective, and sergeant. His broad experience has fueled his passion for mental health advocacy and officer well-being. As the leader of Roseville PD’s Peer Support Team and Wellness Committee, he continues to be a driving force for positive cultural change within the department.
Beyond his professional role, Tom has served as president of his local Fraternal Order of Police lodge, ridden in the Police Unity Tour to honor fallen officers, and remains an active supporter of Special Olympics Minnesota. A devoted husband and father of three, he enjoys hiking, fishing, golfing, hockey, baseball, and coaching his kids’ sports teams.
Tom has proudly served on the Invisible Wounds Project Board for over two years, where his dedication to mental health, service, and community perfectly aligns with the organization’s mission to support veterans, first responders, and their families.
